The sole purpose of Waking The Bull’s Forums and is to provide a professional, real-time stock trading community for investors and traders. Information regarding specific stocks and general information pertaining to the U.S. Stock Markets are freely exchanged.

It is our goal to maintain a low volume of noise, high quality of content concept. At all times, the standards maintained in the forums and chat will be of the highest professional quality. We ask that all members adopt this professional manner. Active participation and discussions are encouraged as it is what makes us unique and successful.

Any behavior deemed to be disruptive will be dealt with quickly. With as little commotion as possible to avoid disrupting the flow of trading. Warnings MAY be issued, however Waking The Bull reserves the right to deal with disruptive users as we see fit. Use of Waking The Bull is a PRIVILEGE, not a right. Waking The Bull's Code of Conduct is based upon respect for fellow participants. The main goal is to develop a community of traders focused on gathering and evaluating financial information. The use of damaging speech, such as: harassment, libel, slander, defamation, etc. is treated with zero tolerance. Under no circumstance will Waking The Bull tolerate language or behavior that we deem to be offensive, pejorative in respect to our members and staff. While we can all agree to disagree at times personal attacks on other members or the staff will result in immediate removal from the site.

Restricted Practices

Hyping is the practice of stock adulation without a reasoned expression of support. The practice of "hyping" stocks will not be tolerated and will be grounds for immediate moderation or removal. Slagging is the practice of denigrating a stock without a reasoned criticism for the sole purpose of scaring holders. The intentional "slagging" of stocks and ideas will also not be tolerated. Spamming is not tolerated. We encourage the expression of ideas and opinions, we limit these to legitimate financial topics. Any unsolicited advertising or promotion are strictly prohibited. Topics including politics, religion and ethnicity are forbidden in chat and stock specific forums.

Although Waking the Bull tries to attach members of good character, be advised that some participating individuals may not be whom they appear to be and may have hidden agendas. Please use your own judgment in validating any information from others.
