    This was a interesting point brought up at the MUX share holder call.

    The caller had the following to say>

    "Apparently Goldman Sachs is offering a derivative product to the hedge funds that allows to go long gold and short the exploration sector. Now, the notion is that the exploration sector as such is worthless and will probably go down to its intrinsic value of zero. But there is about 5 or 10 percent of exploration {stocks} that are good companies, I mean they have good management, they have good project, they have cash and because of that they also have decent trading liquidity in the stocks, and I'm afraid that these companies are actually now serving as the proxy for the exploration sector to execute this trading strategy..."

    The caller went on say that he didn't know if this derivative product did exist, but asked if McEwen's management

    Let us not forget this is the same agency who removed the uptick rule and hasn't enforced and has even facilitated naked shorting. The same agency who was surfing porn while Madeoff well was making off. So I doubt most people with common sense think the SEC is out to protect investors the evidence is to the contrary. Who's policing the corrupt police??
