U.S. stocks rose sharply Wednesday, with technology and industrials gaining the most as Wall Street focused on the improving U.S. economy. Rising as much as 122 points, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was more recently up 113.06 points, or 1.1%, at 10,861.32.
