Borders to close 200 underperforming stores

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Borders Group Inc. said late Thursday the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District ofNew York approved its plan to close 200 underperforming stores as part of its reorganization. All the stores are expected to be shut by theend of April. The book retailer filed for Chapter 11 on Wednesday.
