DreamWorks Animation shares down 4% on downgrade

CHICAGO (MarketWatch) -- Shares of DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc. were down 4.4% Thursday morning after Stifel Nicolaus & Co. cut its rating on the maker of animated films to sell from hold. The shares have dropped 33% since their March 2010 highs, mostly due to concerns about weakening box-office proceeds for the fourth movie in the "Shrek" franchise, along with industry-wide concerns about declining home video sales.
