U.S. stocks opened higher on Thursday, extending the prior session s strong gains, as economic data cast an upbeat light on Friday s monthly employment report. After today s news from ADP and the Labor Department one would expect reasonably positive news on the jobs front, said Bob Enck, chief executive officer of Equinox Fund Management.
