Treasurys turn down as U.S. stocks open

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Treasury prices turned down Monday after U.S. stock markets opened, pushing benchmark 10-year yields up for the fifth straight day. Yields on 10-year notes , which move inversely to prices, turned up 1 basis point to 2.31%, after trading down to 2.26% during European trading hours.
