Regions, B. of A. keep financials' runup going

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Bank Of America Corp. and Regions Financial Corp. topped the gainers in the financial sector on Friday as investors continued to bid up financial stocks in the wake of the recent government stress tests. The financial Select Sector SPDR ETF , which tracks the financial stocks in the S&P 500 , added 0.3% as Regions added 2.5% and Bank of America tacked on 2%. Among Bank of America's fellow financials in the Dow Jones Industrial average , J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. added 0.1%, American Express Co. added 0.7% and Travelers Cos. Inc. rose 0.6%.
