MF Global chief Corzine resigns: reports

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- MF Global chief executive Jon Corzine has resigned from the firm following its spectacular implosion and as investigators ramp up their probe into the company, according to reports. CNBC Television reported on Friday that Corzine, the former head of Goldman Sachs and an ex-governor of New Jersey and Senator from the state, will not take any severance payments. CNBC cited a statement form the company.
