Nordstrom same-store sales rise 5.4%

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Nordstrom Inc. said Thursday its October same-store sales increased by 5.4%, below the target of 6.4% in a survey of analysts by Thomson Reuters. Total October retail sales grew by 13% to $749 million.
