News Corp.: Blu-ray, digital video improving

CHICAGO (MarketWatch) -- News Corp. Chief Operating Officer Chase Carey told analysts Wednesday that home entertainment revenues are beginning to stabilize after slumping during 2009 and 2010. "Some things like Blu-ray and digital [video] are starting to get some traction, starting to offset some of the declines in historical areas [i.e. DVD]," Carey said during a conference call following the company's release of first-quarter results.
