Softbank shares slip after Apple CEO resigns

SYDNEY (MarketWatch) -- Shares of Softbank Corp. declined 0.2% in Tokyo on Thursday, underperforming the main Japanese share market by a wide margin, after Apple Inc. announced that Steve Jobs will resign as chief executive of the technology giant. Softbank supplies Apple products in Japan.
